clip, strip, connect, insulate... done. taped it back up and the wire loom fit right back over them... looks factory

Completed the conversion today. I ended up just using the 00 harness instead of the ap2 one I got because of the different wiring. My 00 harness has 7 wires...! The Ap2 one I have has only 6, i didn't want to mess with wiring it up wrong so I just grinned down the connectors and did the bulb mod, works perfectly!
Used only a dremel to cut, total time from start to finish was 5 hours...bah, had some fitment issues, i had to grind down all the "folded" parts of the original holes to get the lights to sit correctly and neighbors telling me to quiet down, lol so I tried to do it quieter...grr. lost a few plastic clips along the way as well, but it was all worth it

I will always recommend the Hardtopguy conversion kit, just because it's so easy. For the wire side of the project, it took me about 15 minutes, just putting the new clips in that come with the kit.

what kind of connector did u used ? 00 or ap2 ?

I just used my 00 connections, it's really easy to just grind it off until it fits. Then just reused the brown bulb in the new signal holes of the ap2 lights.

my ap1 harness and my ap2 harness both only had 5 or 6 wires... i think it was 5 but i could be wrrong...
those other 2 wires are either the ground, or your tag light...
if you get 7 wires, cut the harness further up from the light... way up near the fuel line.
