I bought mine straight from honda through a sales rep that works there so I got the honda discount However my rear left tail light started to fog up after I gave it a car wash, there appears to be a leak somewhere in the housing so I have to return it and get a replacement

how much are the tail lights? with discount or without?

so if we buy the correct sockets....all we have to do is place the wiring right..?

just ordered my 04 tailights! cant wait to try this mod out.. i purchased the plugs, bulbs and sockets for my new tailights as well.. it only cost an extra 20.00 .. does the tailight wiring plug directly into the pre 04 trunk harness?

Sorry for bringing this back from the dead.. but i wanted to know so i could be prepared when I get my taillights in... =D

After selling my original 04's and repurchasing another set, I finally completed this mod. I actually got the body shop to redo the whole taillight metal frame that it mounts onto, so it looks OEM and fits OEM. I don't plan on going back to AP1 taillights

This was an excellent write-up and the wiring was CAKE. I purchased brand new bulbs and sockets for the taillights, and all I had to do was modify the plugs and they were ready to go.

GREAT DIY WRITE-UP!! BUMP

i just had the shop do it for me. i did the headlights myself. pretty easy and involved NO cutting or anything of that nature.
