Default 2005 Ipod input

I found something that works. It is just an AUX input and will not charge or control the ipod, but at least it works in the 2005.

And it is only $79.99

Yes and I just returned mine as it does not work in the 2005.

This was confirmed by Ira at Blitzsafe.

I actually posted a thread about it.

Argetni, how is the Volume of your iPod compared to regular CDs? Mine is super low, and I lose signal quality when I turn it up.

I have Soundgate, and I want to know if it's the iPod itself, or the adapter.

Sounds awesome and loud, louder than CDs.

I have my Ipod about 75% of max volume with 0 distortion.

I had it on full and it still sounded nice.

Damn, I guess the Soundgate is crappy then. I'm kind of pissed now.

Does anyone make an adapter for the 01 Honda radio that charges iPod? I have only seen the type that has signal throughput.

Thx

It is just an AUX input that allows you to use the cd changer port of the radio for any type of mp3 player, etc...

It just plugs into the cd changer port on the back of the radio.
