I know its about $200 bucks but why not invest in the dension icelink?

I just bought the Dension IceLink Plus tonight and installed it. I tried it out while the radio was still out and decided to return it. I felt like the DIL took too much control away from me. I want to be able to go to any song on my iPod and play it, without having to jump through hoops. I have over 3000 songs on mine, and the DIL works best with playlists <--and only about 4 or 5 different playlists, at that. There's just no way I'm gonna have 3000 songs distributed into 5 different playlists. But it also gives you the option of using the actual iPod itself (and NOT the car stereo buttons). However, even that is limited as far as what you can do with it. You can't make a playlist on the go, can't scroll through your iPod like you normally would, etc. Basically, it just became apparent that it was a big PITA, not to mention the $200 price tag.

I'm gonna go with the "P.I.E. - HON03/PC-SON." It's just a simple connection, and you control EVERYTHING on the iPod. Your iPod won't even know that it's connected to a car stereo because the signal is coming out of the earphone jack and straight into the car stereo. And no, it won't charge the iPod, but look anywhere on the net and you'll find a simple iPod car charger for under $10. Another bonus of using this connection is that you can plug ANYTHING into it. Eg: Long road trip and wanna watch a movie on a laptop? <--Just plug the cord into your laptop and you have stereo sound for your movie.
