if you're planning on adding a sub, why not go with the pdx 4.150? you can use the othe 2 channels to drive your sub. that way you just use 1 amp and use up more room in your trunk. i have my pdx amp next to my spare tire and am not taking up any trunk space. am still debating on whether i need to get a sub or not cause after sound dampening the entire car and putting in some polk sr6500's, the bass seems just fine for me.

Hello,
order the original alpine remote control interface KCE-865B .

It has a honda connector on one side and alpine on the other. Plug and play !

your OEM steering wheel remote control will be available with your new ALPINE headunit.
Yes, but the Modifry is a FAR superior DCI compared to the Alpine unit and it's simple to install.

yup -- system looks pretty good. and

i'd avoid the system in a box. price is ok, but if you're not way constrained, you can pick and choose a better setup for nearly the same money.

It's installed....

Holy crap, what a difference verses the stock system. With the top down and crusing at 80 it loud as hell. This is the way it should have been from the factory. Everything went in perfectly, I'll post pic soon. The head unit looks great and the dashboard controls work seamlessly.

Sounds good to me. My only advice would be that you get a 150x4 amp, in case you ever decide you want a sub....this way, its just plug and play.
this is what i have!

9857
DCI wired
150x4 (or is it 125x4?) JBL
Boston Pro 60s!
door dampening

sounds good, and definately has loudness with the top down.. however, STILL need a sub for thump! shopping for 8 or 10" sidetrunk mount...

Looks Great. Did you do the install by yourself?...That's about the same setup that I want when I finally get around to getting my S. BTW, did you buy it from Space Coast?

No, they didn't have a black car in stock so we kept looking and Coggin got one in August with the effect package in September. The install was done by a Chris over at Hi-way Hi-Fi on the island. It took about 6 hours and I spent the entire time taking pics from start to finish. I think I've got 60+ hi-res shots. I've only had it a day but I will say that if you

Yeah, I'm planning on taking my car to them when I finally get it. They did the work on my current car (98 SVT Contour).
