Navigation is my main reason.

Secondary is to keep the Gf eyes on the screen and not the (although she is startin to be a speed freek herself! )

[B]Ubetit I hear what you are saying, well I used to have similar setup in my accord, I used it for Navigation system on road trips and also for my girl, so she would not fall asleep, she would be watching a movie or playing a game or something.

ignoring the obvious dvd/game angle (which is a bit silly to me too). For the driver, a bigger screen for say a GPS unit. or a menu screen for a laptop output. So you can do like Kwando and use a laptop for MP3 and view it via the visor. Ok so trying to do things via the visor would be pretty dangerous while driving. But if you have an MP3 player program open, you could control up/down track pretty easily. The visor would let you see upcoming songs previous songs etc.

The system is mainly for the passanger, but mostly for show. If you have ever driven with the visors down you can't see a thing.

I'm not being flippant, I truly seek an answer.

I love technology just as much as the next guy but I'm having trouble figuring out why you would want these in an S2000. Do you really sit in your car in a driveway/garage/parking lot to watch movies or play Xbox on 5" screens? Do you really need to be able to plug a computer into your visors? I can understand this stuff in a Minivan, but an S2000?

How do people with these gadgets use them in their car?
i know exactly what you're saying. i have a dvd player with a 7" motorized screen, i threw it in 'cause my oem radio broke on my other car and since i was replacing the cd player i decided to splurged. i put in an e-brake bypass to use it while driving too. at first i was eating my lunch in the car watching dvds but that got old fast, can't really watch anything while driving 'cause it's too dangerous, i'm sure it'd be a nice bling thing for a car show, but it's just dumb sheet, at least for my application. it did replace my broke oem unit though, so it's not a total loss...
