Has anyone played with putting a pair of 6" subs in the cabin to improve bass?

I really don't like all the rattles in the trunk with a sub in the trunk. I have room infront of both seats that I can put a box/sub. I was considering a 6" woofer and box infront of each seat. I have read the threads about putting an 8" in the foot well (but I am not interested).

I know there are people that know tons about stereos here. Feel free to offer suggestions I have not settled on anything just sketching out my system and want to have the basics down before I start.

If you want to fix the rattle just buy a bunch of Dynamat and have it. My brother and I did my entire trunk and I very rarely have any rattles.
