Add a Circuit
I am going to hardwire my PowerMagicPro and I'm wondering if those Add A Circuits is the proper way to go. Most of the DIY guides I read all use those, but I also run into a post here and there suggesting that they can be damaging.
well. i had those wired my V1 back than for few years, never had a single problem,
right i removed my V1, n using the same circuit with a dual USB 12v power outlet, it's works flawless.
if u worry about it, u can do the direct wire from the battery if u want, or tap a wire to the fuse box under the hood.

Just finished wiring my Blackvue with those Add-a-Circuits. Hopefully everything is set up properly... First time doing any wiring! Power Magic Pro is working and it's recording while parked. Have it tapped into #9 and #26 on this diagram https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/806...sebox-diagram/ BTW my Owner's manual has #26 listed as 10A but it has 15A fuse on there. (I think it's listed as #15 in my manual. They started counting from the top) I grounded it to one of the nuts behind the clutch pedal. If I messed something up, please correct me before I damage anything!
There's an easier way - the under-dash fusebox has three accessory power connections:

E - on with the headlights
D - on all the time
C - on with the ignition
If you connect to these you should make sure you have an inline fuse as they are capable of delivering
quite high current.

That's actually pretty cool.
I was wondering if i can add a 12v dc to 5v @3a converter right there with just wire tap in n ground it.
The converter can be tap directly to battery.
Thx

First thing u need to do is go to auto zone or pepboys ,get a add a fuse ,it's like a wire line with a round twist fuse holder, than attach to ur go pro wire,if they provide a hardwire mount cable kit.
If not wire it to a 12v eocket outlet, than attach to the 12v power inlet from ur cam .
