Default Adding a second DIN sized unit?

I have a Pioneer DSP that I want to add into the S2000 because I just love the way it alters the sounds. Problem is, where do I put it? The space for the head is only one DIN, so adding a second unit there won't be too easy. Anyone have any ideas?

If I remember correctly, the Pioneer EQ uses a removable face, single DIN, that needs 2-3" of mounting depth. It has pretty lights too. The controller will need to be mounted within six feet of the faceplate as well. Put the controller under the seat, and cut the dashboard a little off center. While you are inside the dash, I would install an LCD screen. The center of the dash board has more than four inches of mounting depth, so this should work pretty well. But with the whole song and dance on your dashboard, do you really think you'll be watching the road?

If it has a removable face you are still in business. Just wire the interface to the faceplate and install into the dash. You could still mount the unit under one of the seats.

nope..no removable face....but good idea though. Actually, the head unit is a removable face...maybe mount the EQ in the dash and wire the head somewhere else?

Thank you Barry! I have since revised that mounting a bit... but none-the-less it is 100% possible to mount any DIN chassis in the dash. You do have to heat the ductwork up a bit for a perfect fit...

But don't forget: a new dash is only ~$340 so cut away!
