Default Adding Subwoofer Amp to JVC headunit?

Ok, so my JVC headunit has an output for subwoofer. Its just one Phono Plug. Obviously not the normal red/white stero phono (dual plug)

I dont quite understand how to hook the one wire (signal) from the headunit's suboowfer output to the Amplifier's input?

The input of the MTX amp I have are just two sets of Stereo Phono inputs...

maybe a stupid question but i'm not exactly sure i understand it... can anyone help me out???

Thanks..

I figured I need to use/get a Y adapter--- but I'm not sure... Is this the right thing to use to maintain quality?

some amps have a switch to accept mono input when you're bridging
the amp to mono. If yours doesn't, a Y-adapter RCA cable will work
as you guessed.
