Default Aftercooler Pump running?

OK, don't know how this happens and need some help. I walk out to my car this morning and hear a hum coming from the front end? I walk closer and hear the water pump for the aftercooler running. It is connected to the fuse block under dash in the switched connection and has been like that for about 7 months. I started the car, shut it down, unplugged the connection at the fuse block and it is still running...help please!

Yeah I will do that...the problem has now gone away... I think I am going to get some holy water and a priest to fix it for me.

If you unplugged it and it still ran, it sounds to me like the pump is
connected directly to the battery through a relay which is switched
by the fusebox switched connection, and the relay is sticking.

yes, guess that would make sense... its been a while since I installed, but pretty sure I just ran the wire through the firewall to the open female spade connection in the fuse block that is only on with ignition????

I'm the first to admit I know roughly zero about this, but I found this installation PDF
in which their aftercooler pump is wired with power from the air pump,
and the wire that is run into the fusebox is just a turn-on wire.
HTH and YMMV

OK that all looks real familiar...so the power comes from somewhere else and the wire I ran just turns it on? so if that is the case, then the previous poster who said the relay was sticking...is probably correct.
