There are quite a few threads about head unit recommendations, etc. but one thing I am curious about (and seems to be lacking) in my search is the screen options. I already know roughly what features I want in a deck, but my car is a weekend/autox toy so the overwhelming majority of the driving I do is top down. Obviously some screens will glare worse than others, but I'm trying to figure out what my best options are for having a deck that's most usable in direct sunlight. From reading reviews a lot of decks have mixed results when it comes to visibility, but reviewers don't include a vehicle description which somewhat kills it. If the complaint is about mediocre visibility in a convertible that's one thing, but if they're driving a Tahoe then it will undoubtedly be useless in an S2k. It seems most units are LCD but there are some other options available, and I'd like to hear what fellow S2k owners have to say. TIA.

All I can say is good luck finding that info. I just selected mine based on other needs. I doubt you'll find a comprehensive resource with such information.
