Can you tell me more about the G5?? why is that "the one" to get??

How about a Viper alarm??

Is the Clifford as good as the Viper??

I got the Clifford Matrix 10.5 on mine. Had no issues with it so far. I basically wanted something with 2-way paging.

has built in remote starter, built in smart window(they roll up when you arm the car, you can vent them, or roll them down with the remote as well), tilt sensors, if someone tries to jack your car up, alarm will go off. just a few things i liked about it. id have to go to cliffords site to get more info on it. any of their alarms ar good, the Matrix, as stated above is a very fine alarm as well. i have an older Clifford 200 with smart windows, and remote start in my wifes EK, and its very good for the money if you look for used ones. the Clifford 400, and 600 are the steps above the 200, and can probably find one of those used for $200ish id imagine.

Some alarm and install info:

Anyone have opinions/experience with these anti-theft devices?

http://ravelco.com/

They are about $200 and claim to be better than alarms. They also claim no car has been stolen that had one installed. But that could just mean thay haven't sold very many.

Fellas, there is no need to spend $1000 on the clifford.

Get yourself the DEI 2-way pager alarm system w/shock, motion and perimeter sensors. Like $550 installed. Great Alarm!

And don't be foolish and opt for the remote start feature. Remember, we have a six speed and unless you install a safety switch, you could really cause yourself some headaches.
