Default alarm setup?

i'm in the market of getting a viper alarm. don't remember which model it was but the most recent pager model. i looked into the compustar but from my daily life. i dont really need that far of paging so 1/4 mile will do. either way, i know you can put options on your alarms and i was wondering what types of options you guys put into your alarms when installed.

i'll definately go with prox. sensor incase the roof is down. one of the butons will have armed/disarmed, anohter with trunk release, what to do with the other 2? how many of you guys have remote start as well?

sorry for the odd typing been thru a long day =D thanks in advance

Microswitches on the door handles so that if anyone lifts them they get a quick blast from some air horns.

Oh Yea, Did I mention Air Horns as well as a regular siren.
While you re at it , put an interior siren to make it unbearable for someone to try to disable your alarm.

One more thing , a back - up battery , incase yours is disabled.

oh, and one more thing, a fuel pump kill switch totally seperate from the alarm .

I won't go into details about my own alarm.
But believe me . I gave you some great advice.
Those micro-switches should be on the door handles themselves, seperate from the door switches which should also be hard wired.
Don't rely on the dome light to set your alarm.

Keep in mind that 1/4mi. range will be reduced if you go inside a building.
