Just curious if you do find one that will put the top up as you walk away, how will it latch itself?

it wont latch itself BUT any installer should be able to add something like DEI's auto window up/down to your top so when you set the alarm the roof will close (same premise as my auto up windows when i set my alarm)

I know this because when Twized installed my system i asked about it and he said it could be done

Yeah, should be very possible. The only thing is it won't latch, so I'm not really sure what the benefit would be. If you're inside somewhere and it starts raining, then your interior will probably get wet. If someone wants to get in your car, they'll slash the top even if it's up and latched.

In less than 10 seconds you can close and latch the top, so it's not that time consuming of a process to do it, since presumably you're only doing it so people won't be snooping in your car.

Also, when you raise the top, the windows go down, so you'll have to set it up so that after the top is raised, then the system closes the windows again.

I have a sensor installed so if it rains when I'm away, the top will go up as well as the windows. As xviper said though, it's not going to latch it. I just wanted to protect the interior should I forget or we have a sudden downpour.

So is it possible, yes. Mine is a Cliffor Matrix2.5 but would can add this to any decent alarm.

To have the top go up down with windows is cakewalk. To latch it, is impossible. If you just want the appearance of a closed roof, then just get any alarm with aux and wire it to the windows/top mechanism, and thats it.
