Just bought it today man. I've got big plans for my s2k audio package. I promise to post pics when its all done!

 

Holy Cow,

Awesome unit. So many features that I still haven't set them all up. You can even customize the settings according to style of vehicle, type upholstery, etc. Plus setting to adjust settings when you are the only occupant, or have passenger. Even input the distance from each speaker to you ears for a custom tailored setup. (seems a little extreme to me, IMHO)

Display is very visible at night, and unit has yet to stumble on rough roads. Can't wait for setup that allows dash controls, though.

Piece of cake, the door closes fine with the face in the straight up position. With it tilted, it's a no go. But I think the head unit can be adjusted to fit a little deeper inside the console.

My head unit should be in today. I hope to have it installed within the next week or so. I have a digital camera and will send you some pictures when it is finished.

I have the Alpine 7969 installed, looks real sharp. I can imagine the 7878 would look real nice , especially w/ the silver in the head unit. Also--the unit only illuminates in green and not amber--some members were concerned w/ this issue!
