If you've got one post up on why and or why not i should get one. I'm thinking i'm going to buy this instead of the 9815 b/c of price reasons. If there is anyone here that works at best buy or some place that sells these babys and can get a discount please PM me. We can talk about striking a quick deal

Let me know what you all think?

I have a 9815 and LOVE it...it's amazing how much stuff they crammed into a single DIN box, and it sounds great. I'm sure the 9813 would be similarly great, just minus a couple of features.

Same here, I have a 9811, the main difference between mine and yours is that 9813 has a build in EQ and mine doesnt. Alpine's cda-98.. series are the best, I recommend it to everyone.

I have a 9813, I like everything about it. The 9815 has better display and the feature that allows you to burn the radio settings on a CD-R by going to the Alpine website. I bought my 9813 the first week those models came out and the 9815 was already backordered.

You can print the PDF of the 9811/13/15 owner's manual (same for all three) from Alpine's website if you really want to compare features. I use the WMA feature as a CD changer replacement, I can get 8 or 10 albums on one disc and Windows labels the compressed files for me. Don't have to leave real CD's in the car. I have 10 or 12 CD-R's in the secret compartment, which is about 70 or 80 albums, can't beat that.

Oh yeah, go ahead and get the XM tuner while you're at it, you won't regret it.
