Just wanted to get some feedback from you guys who have some experience with this headunit. I got this HU installed a couple weeks ago and for some reason the AM does not come out at all. I get FM reception, but its not as good as the stock HU. My HU is powered into the battery and to the best of my knowledge all the plugs are in correctly etc. Anyone have any clue how I can get my AM to work again ? This is frustrating the crap out of me because I really want to be able to listen to my Sports Talk Radio again... thanks in advance to all.

 

HI; If it didnt work from day 1 I suspect that the amplifier in the antenna is not working. This needs 12 volts to operate and usually is powered from the radio harness. If a shop did the install take the car back. I listened to the AM on my HU once to make certain it worked.

You need to connect the antenna power.
