ALPINE 9857 VICE KENWOOD 971 ?

Anyone have thoughts on which one would be better? I have a new in the box Alpine 9857 that I want to install in the next month or so. I've heard people say the 971 Kenwood is a better i-pod deck. Feedback would be appreciated.

Nope. Alpine is still #1 when it comes to Ipod control.
