Also. make sure you double check the AUX setting. That head unit has about 3 different aux inputs all labeled with the work "AUX" in it. Turn them all on and see if it starts working. If it does, just turn them off, one by one, until you know which one it the one you need.

Hey man im having the same problem. Except i tried everything youve suggested to the other user and mines still not working. When i connect the 3.5mm jack to my mp3 it stops playing from the mp3s internal speakers but i hear nothing from my car speakers? Have no idea what to do i turned on all the AUXs one by one and even turn all 3 AUX setting on together and still no sound from the AUX sources. Makes me angry that alping can make such a good HU and fXck up on the simplest things. Why couldnt they just make AUX in the front with 3.5mm input like everyone else ffs.
