Anyone found out any more about this unit? Have been waiting since May. Dealers say that it is due out "this month" each month I call.

It sounds like a great unit. MP3, sat. radio ready, tons of other features. It also uses the same transport mechanism as the Alpine F1 unit.

I am also keeping my eyes on it. So far no local shops here in Houston has it. I have seen it sold somewhere on the net tho (forgot w/c site it was).

Anyways, it is going to retail for $850. A bit pricey but it has tons of cool feature and Alpine rep and quality, it should be worth it.

 

Anyone heard any updates regarding this head unit? I have performed several searches on the web with no luck.

This XM Satellite Radio ready head unit is loaded with a 45W x 4 MOSFET amplifier and a MaxTune SQ tuner. I called a local shop here in houston, they said that it will be in in 2 weeks (more like 1.5 weeks coz I called them last Friday).
