^^I like alpine too, but their 07 design is so outdated. Are they that much better than pioneer?

 

i have that and i love it

i've always been a fan of pioneer because of how the volume knob works as a joystick for navigating thru mp3 folders and such

the customizable display is a bonus, too

 

I dont know about the other one's but i just got the 9885 a few months ago and its probably the best ive had yet.

 

I know alpine has always made great head units, but their design is pretty plain imo. I'm also looking for something that looks good.

I have the 9885 and I love it. It automatically switches to radio when you unplug the iPod, reads the iPod quickly, has great % search and scroll capability. Personally I think Alpine makes the best iPod interface.

 

Cmon! Lets face it. Everything we buy in this world has to also look good.

What about alpine makes it so great? From looking at teh specs, the pioneer head units are pretty darn good too. Plus, it has the bluetooth feature
