Alpine headunit with ipod adapter interface...

i got my adapter installed on the pasenger side there is a slot perfect for it you can't even see is kinda uner the airbag i ran the cable to the little slot right behind the cup holder for my ap1

i got the HU for $130 and Ipod adapter for $30. I'm going to install the brain underneath the radio...but i don't know where to run the cable. Should I run the cable in the carpet or the center console?

Where do you want the iPod? If you want it in the console or glove box, I recommend you put it behind the glove box - plenty of room there - check out the Electronics forum for tips.

And you don't have to cram it in the DIN slot, you can wire it underneath the dash. Velcro and zip ties are your friends.
what do you mean by underneath the dash and the DIN slot
