Yes. Thanks, John. So if i just have 2 speakers in the S2000, i'd adjust the driver side for a little delay?

Yup you got it! It will balance out the sound so it will seem like your sitting with the speakers exactly the same distance away.

If you go to www.alpine-usa.com You can go to the i-personalize section and sign up and set it up that way. Plus a you'll learn a little from doing it yourself.

You'll need to take a measurement from your front right speaker to your ear/head... should be around like 34" I think... I haven't measured it in a while.. so it could be a little higher.

BTW if you have seperates take the measurement inbetween them around the window switch.

Hey, would this time correction capability help fix the staging (and possibly brightness) issue when using S-Pods?

Yes and no. It will fix the staging but the S-pod's will always be a bit bright. You can mess with the gains and try to get them not to be so bright but you'll have a rough go of it.

With proper time correction the speakers will all sound the same distance apart... so that way the sounds get to your ears at the same time. Balance... other wise the speaker closet to your head will sound loudest...
So this works for only one person in the car, correct? A passenger might notice one side being a little louder even with the time correction?

Thanks,
Dave

I was planning on using the deck power from an Alpine 9833 to run the pods and then amp the doors and sub in the trunk. Am I correct that using the deck power I will not be able to adjust the gain, etc.?
