Default Alpine hookup

Ok, I know very little about stereo hookups.I have decided to get a custom job done.I looked at the Alpine CDA 7995 and wanted to know what adapters if any I will need to use my remote stereo functions to the left of the steering wheel. Also I have ordered the Lucid rear speaker system, will I need to buy the harness with these or will a good audoi shop be able to do it

Thanks in advance

Good choice in HU, I have the same. You know it's not powered so you'll need an amp, right? In order to keep your dash controls, you will need the PAC SWI-X from Lucid, but you won't need the harness - that's for the stock HU because there are no connections for the rear speakers on the stock HU.

Or, you could go with DJ Cube's super-duper set-up. See thread below.

I disagree on the Harness. The harness from Lucid was setup for the pac, and the other was not (lacked the Dash remote signal lead)

So the audio shop will either have to mod the harness, or cut the stock harness. Since I one bought the parts from an audio shop to install mine, and then Pac from Lucid. I could be wrong, but for 15 buck from either Lucid or the Audio shop it might be better to get it from Lucid, and then you will know that it is the right one.

On the PAC, Now that one Pac only makes one, and the Audio shop willshould have it. But it might be priced higher.

I bought the Harness, Pac and Mute Relay from Lucid. This is my task for the weekend. Lets see how it goes..

I stand corrected.
Sorry for the mis-information.

I am going with the Mrv-f340 amp, guy wants me to get a second amp and woofer at a later date and then do a custom theme for me.Stage 1 = HU, rear lucid speakers and amp ( set to left of tool bay ) and all the wireing for future improvements.Stage 2 ( on right side of tool bay ).2nd amp.then a 10 inc sub in a box (Alpine SWR-1041 D made to fit in tool bay.Raise the whole trunk to cover the amps, except for the Alpine logo in an oval shape and make an S Shaped opening over the woofer and neon accents on either side of the trunk, not too much just a bit of flash.also gonna do neon under the drivers and passengers dashes.

Get an Alpine KCE-865B adapter fm Europe. It's designed for this purpose. But a long wait though! I'm still waiting for mine and it's over 6 weeks now...!
