I've been trying to install some speakers and an amp, a little bit at a time, for about a week now. I've had about enough of removing and installing door panels, but I fear that I may have to do it again, unless you can help me. I never paid too much attention to the passenger-side lock, but tonight I noticed that, when locked, it's not quite as flat as the driver-side lock. So, I'm wondering if I blocked the mechanics of the lock somehow while installing my new speakers. Or maybe the lock has never been as flat as the driver-side lock, in which case, I won't have to remove the door panel AGAIN to look. What does yours look like? Is it identical to the driver-side lock (when locked)?

Hey Gil,

When I installed my SONY XPLOD speakers-after putting the door panels back on I noticed the driver side door lock sticks out--doesn't lay flat like it originally did. So I know it has something to do with the way I re-installed the door panels. Just haven't had time to re-do them so they'll lay flat.

That's weird, May. I guess I'm going to have to go back in there and check it out. It'll drive me crazy if I don't.

So did you add a front and rear spoiler, or what? Or have they always been there, and I never noticed? That is you that I see driving around, right? Top up most of the time recently, w/ tinted windows? Is there another female w/ a GPW around NW Military? If you see a GPW w/ the windshield tape removed, and clear side markers, it's me.

Yeah, I didn't realize that you guys were meeting up the other night. I don't check the regional forums nearly as much as the other ones, e.g., electronics. DDS pm-ed me about a possible drive this weekend, but it's raining now.
