I just got an 9813 installed. I haven't read the instructions yet, but I know that you can turn the buttons to amber (for a few seconds) by pressing the t.torr button. I'm guessing that there is an option to turn the amber permanently.

i stand corrected ---

the 9813 is listed as having amber lighting, but when i got my hands on one today -- it does not. the 7894 does.

oops?
