Default Alpine Ipod 9850 problems with IPOD mini.

Afternoon,

Just got the Alpine 9850ri, having problems, installed it, worked fine for 3 days then bought a Apple Hi Fi, went back to car and it hasn't worked since. I'm using the Ipod Mini and it just keeps saying "searching" on the HU and displays "ok to disconnect" on the Ipod with NO Alpine logo.

Tried someone elses Ipod (30GB video) and it worked fine, so i'm guessing its my pod.

Any takers?

Try updating the firmware on your iPod.

Reboot the iPod, sometimes when it loses a connection, it refuses to establish another connection until it is rebooted. Mine does this on occasion with my icelink. On mine, I have to hold down Menu and Play for about 5-8 seconds. When you see the Apple logo pop up, it's rebooting. Try it then.
