Does anybody have the new Alpine SPX-177A 6 1/2 Components installed in their s2k? If so, what do you think about them?

I heard them. They do sound pretty nice, a little pricy in my opinion. They are NOT better than the Kappa Perfects, so dont pay more than 210 bucks for them.

Personaly i love them, the adjustablity of the crossover network is great. With the crossover setup correctly the timing of the speakers is perfect. Great, clean all around sound, nice highs and tight low's.

Just out of curiousity what kind of music do you listen to reguarly? I'm not into the whole "rap" stuff, but I do like rock/metal/death metal/jazz/easy listening rock (I know strange), and I really want clarity. How would you compare these speakers to say other brands. Infi. Perfects, Boston Acoustics, etc.
