Default Alpine TuneIt app

I have a CDE-149BT on stock speakers and no sub. Has anyone used the Alpine TuneIt app and have recommended settings? Or does anyone have recommendations for the parametric EQ settings? Thanks!

Here are my recommended settings for a 5-band EQ based on the results of the Imprint runs I've done in various S2000s.

Frequency(Hz)/Level(dB)/Width(Q)
Band1: 80.0/+3/3
Band2: 400.0/0/3
Band3: 1.2k/-3/3
Band4: 3.2k/+1/1.5
Band5: 8.0k/-3/3

Time corrections calculations as follows (adjusted for people who drive on the wrong side of the road):

Subwoofer in the boot wlaurent/darkside passenger side enclosure
Components in the doors as per 2002 onwards

Sub is 1.2m from driver,

Right Woofer is 1.1m from driver
Right Tweeter is 1.0m from driver
Average Right is 1.05m

Left Woofer is 0.7m from driver
Left Tweeter is 0.5m from driver
Average Left is 0.6m from driver

Only the Left needs correction as the Left is now furthest away. The difference between Left and Right is 0.55m, so a delay of 1.6ms.

Thanks for the info! The 149BT has a 9-band EQ. Do you have recommended settings for that?

If you check there will be settings within the app posted by other people. Since you're mainly stock, I'm sure someone has tuned their setup and posted it to the public.

I tried one directly from Alpine and it sounded waaaaay worse (super tinny like listening to headphones sitting on a table) than any of the preset sound profiles. I actually didn't find too many when searcing for S2000.

You need Bluetooth AND a headunit that supports the TuneIt app.

I've just purchased an old 9887 HU with the full Imprint measurement software. Haven't used it yet, but I'm very familiar with the Audyssey features for my home system. Could you please explain how you came up with conventional settings based on Imprint results? Thanks.

See this thread: https://www.s2ki.com/...alpine-imprint/ which contains images of the Imprint Measurements and from those you can see where the common peaks and troughs are, and then use your EQ to iron them out. As you can see, it's not an exact science but they give a good guide at least.

The most important thing is that it sounds good to you.

PS David, you posted in December that there was a newer version of the software, do you have a link please?
