Default Alpine wiring

I've done a search and can't find what I need. I had a pioneer HU that the owner before me used, and I already disconnected the harness. I've been trying to figure out what should match up to what and decided that this will be trial and error before I get it right.

Is there anywhere that it states what car wire (color) matches up to which alpine wire??

alpine 9856; there is an amp from previous owner; no DCI (later); just want a quick (ha) install! Thanks in advance!

I was assuming that the colors didn't exactly match up, because the pioneer harness had a red wire going to the blue/white and orange/white going to red and so on and so forth. I'll give it a shot.

I am guessing the Alpine harness is different. If you get the one from modifry, it will make things easier. But yeah, the harness should match all the colors.

Well, like I thought, I've matched all the ones from the harness to car wiring by color and I have nothing. I went ahead and tried the solid yellow (alpine) to the yellow/stripe (honda) to get power, but I have nothing. I'm such a noob.

I'll give it a shot. I called my local dealership to see if i could get a hold of a stock wiring harness, but they said they didn't have any.

Here you go.

I would use a 9v batter to check the speakers to make sure that they pop on the correct side.

WIRE COLOR
Battery WHITE/BLUE
Accesory WHITE/RED
Ground BLACK
Dimmer RED/BLACK
Power Antenna YELLOW/GREEN
LF Speaker (+) GREEN/YELLOW
LF Speaker (-) GRAY/RED
RF Speaker (+) GREEN/BLACK
RF Speaker (-) LIGHT GREEN

alpine orange to honda red/black for illumination/dimmer? is that wrong?
alpine red to honda white/red for accesory/switched power lead? dunno there either.
alpine blue to honda yellow/green for power antenna

Alright, I'm losing my mind on something that should be simple. I don't know where the battery lead goes, assuming white/blue for constant power. Alpine red goes to white/red for ACC. Is "Illumination" on alpine harness needed??? WTF is "dimmer", because the alpine has nothing on that either. Thanks again. If I could get a hold of a stock harness I would.
