what is the best way to do this? are there an write ups? is it easier to run it to the door speakers or tap nto the back of the headunit and whats the best way to run the wires so they are not seen

its wayyyy easier to tap head unit but the correct ideal way is to tap directly from ur speakers. plan on spending a a few hrs if u decide to tap the speakers.

You will have to snake the wires through the door grommets which are already pretty stuffed. Best way is to go buy yourself a set of fiberglass wire running sticks over at harbor freight. I picked up a set for 10 bucks. I'm assuming home depot would have them as well but probably more expensive. Once you get through that the rest is cake.

Where did you guys run the power wire? I think I could mount the amp right under the drivers seat. How do you ever tap info the radio?

You should do some research before you start messing with any of this but,

You will need to run a fused power line to the battery through the firewall. The amp also needs to be grounded. You will then need to run RCA's from the amp to the Radio.
Once all that is done, you will need to run the speaker wires into the door and to the aftermarket speakers you install.
