The car is all wired up.. Waiting for the arrival of the SS Van Gogh, its slated to arrive sometime this week. I ran the knukonceptz rca's down the center console to the rear as well as the remote thru the console. Power and ground wires have been run down the passenger side. Speaker wires have been run on both sides of the car to the doors. JD, I used you teqhnique to run the speaker wires thru the door and it worked perfect. Today I am making the speaker baffles using 3/4 inch mdf and once the amp arrives its going on a PAS2KNUT amp rack which should be here by wednesday. Then it will be time for tuning.

I rounded out my install last weekend by putting Focal Utopia 136w's in the Spods, and a Focal 5WS sub into the RSX sub box, and installing another Zapco AG360 amp to power them (2x80 on one side for the spods, 1x180 for the sub). I still have some tuning to do on the speakers, and the RSX sub box has some tuning issues (the new sub blows air through the joins in the plastic) but I am well on my way.... and the 60gb photo Ipod arrives Wednesday to round out the mix.
Of course, it is a big frankstein mess that needs proper mounting, but that is another project
Wow JD you went all out! I will take photos this weekend of the Utopia's going in and the amp going in. I figured no need to take photos of rca's and power wires being run since all of you have seen that already. I should receive my amp by thursday, the same day my amp rack arrives too. Install should be completed sunday or monday. I want to get an Ipod for my install too, but not the picture one, i want the Mini I pod. thats my next purchase, can anyone say christmas, that and an PRM intake. Cant wait to tune this mess, i am in the process of ordering my Alphasonik PSw608 and my Wlaurent box too. Exciting times!
Just got my amp rack from PAS2KNUT. Nice piece, quality is nice and the color match on the felt is perfect. Its all ready to go, amps and cross overs mounted, all i got to do now is mount it and wire it up. Hopefully after work tommorow I will have time to complete it. Check it out.
Also check out the home made baffles that the Utopia's required. Made out of 3/4" mdf. Just traced around the stock speaker baskets. The hole for the speaker is wider than the speaker basket hole, so you have to widen it. If I recall, for the utopia's it was 141 mm.
