What is important to me is getting good bass for the speaker i have with less distortion at peak power.

This is the subwoofer i got:

the sub is 250watt rms and 500watt max


The decision I have to make is whether to stick with the 2 channel audiobahn amp and simply use that and the sub as aftermarket.

Or should I also upgrade the factory door speakers.

OR, should I try to get a 4 channel amp and use it to power both the sub and the aftermarket door speakers.

I need recommendations.

this is the 4 channel amp I'm considering. if i get this, how much rms and/or max power is getting to my sub on the 2 bridged channels? (since the other 2 channels are going to the door speakers)

Stay away from sony amps. Far far away. Get the audiobahns.

 

my experiences with Sony home gear were pretty decent over the years... my experiences with their car stuff -- miserable.

that's just one man's story...

i'm surprised to see CC no longer deals w/ Kenwood.

also, what other store options are in your area... CC doesn't provide the greatest selection...
