Kappas, 60.7 components. I'd recommend atleast a 75x2 RMS

there are many good brands of amps. if you tell us
your goals, people might be able to make suitable
suggestions. for instance, are you looking for:
- low budget?
- high end?
- bling?
- hidden mounting?
- extra channel(s) for a future sub?
for me, I bought a Boston GT-40 because I could mount it hidden,
above the gas tank, but one might make a different choice if you
wanted to mount it exposed in the trunk.

No budget...Just want a quality amp for the Infinity Kappa's. Small in size, hidden under pass. seat/spare tire area.

I'm going to see how this sounds before I decide on a sub. If I decide on a sub, I'm going to sell this one and buy one with additional channels.

I am more or less about to install this exact setup.

I have installed currently
Alpine 9857 with wired modifry dci
IPOD fast connect cable

Will be installing this winter,
Wlaurent trunk well sub box with Elemental deisgn 10in
Kappa Perfect 6.1 components
I have a 4 channel JBL amp to power everything.

I definitely would not recommend running it off the headunit, but I think you got that. You can buy a 2 channel for the kappas with about 100x2 RMS should be plenty and then if you want a sub get a mono amp that pushes 200-300 watts rms

Look at the reference infinity amps, they are inexpensive and should work well. JBL are fine, alpine will work fine. Just becareful where you buy. Make sure they are a rep.

Good luck.

Kappa components
Rms power range- 2x90 W
Peak- 270 W

Falcon amp
2x90 W
280 W

Alpine PDX 4.150
4 x 150w. use 2 channels for your components, the other 2 for your sub. tiny amp so will be easy to install.
