Default Amp recommendation

Ok I have gone thru my normal selection process for my new system

I have ended up with going with CDT ES-620 components after alot of research. Getting a good deal on them.

Anyways, they are rated at 150 rms (need to confirm with CDT first, several places list different figures).

I really want to stick with a single amp set up , front channels for the CDT's and the rear bridged for my Alphasonik.

Guys I need suggestions on an amp that can provide what I need. Minimum I am looking for is 150 watts per channel, 175 per channel would be ideal. Any idea's, I am drawing a blank here. I want a amp providing nice clean power, no kicker amps here.

I looked at a dual set up , one JL 300/2 for the comp's, and a JL 500/1 for the sub, but its a little bit more than what I want to spend on amps.

PAS2KNUT talk to your guy if you have not ordered yet about getting 4 amps, I might be interested in taking this route if the price is right. one 300/2 and one 500/1. Let me know.

I will give him a call today.

What was wrong with the Alpine option you were looking at?

NFR is back!

If you can find me something compareable 4 channel with my power requirements I will take that option. The JL route is my last resort option.

Alpine, well I need more than the 125 watts rms its putting out, and I for some reason dont trust they way they rate their power. 125 watts is at 14.4 volts, so in actuality, after Phil's explanation, the actual power output would be closer to 113 watts per channel. The CDT's require 150 watts rms.

Let me know what your guy says Jim.

Thanks.

NFR keep me posted on your findings.
