Default Amp under the seat and WLAURENT V1 sub box q's

Anyone know if an Alpine MRP-M450 amp will fit underneath the drivers seat?

How will the WLAURENT V1 sub enclosure sound with an Alpine 10" Type S Sub, DVD 4ohm? Sealed Enclosure Volume is 0.38 ft^ and I am afraid it might flap when I turn up the volume.

Can someone with this setup chime in on the sound quality? The V2 has more air space, but takes more room in the trunk.

Can always add some cotton stuffing to the inside of the box if it needs more airspace...

I love my WLAURENT well box. Goes great with my IDQ 12D2v2

I like the well box, but it is not an option, as I need to retain that space should I get a flat tire.

Honestly, do you think it's safe to drive the S any distance on a donut?

I figure that my roadside assistance would cover a flat

Besides, you can put cotton stuffing in whichever box design you go with.

Can any owners with the WLAURENT V1 chime in? Are you happy with it, is there sufficient bass, is their flapping? Do you regret going with V1 and getting the V2?

I recently finished my install with a passenger-side WLAURENT V1. I put a JL Audio 10" 10w3 v2 in there with a wad of Dynafill.

It sounds GREAT.

I have neither the amplification nor the desire to achieve high SPL, but what I have now is fantastic, and I'm pleased with the SQ, too.

The pass-side V1 was the only option for me because I mounted my amp vertically to the left of the spare (flush with the cabin-side wall of the trunk . . . I put an aluminum angle bracket on top of the two trunk liner clip holes there, found a bolt that fit them perfectly, and mounted a carpeted chunk of MDF) and I want to be able to retain tire-changing capabilities. And the V1 pops out to fit a golf bag, etc., etc.

Honestly, do you think it's safe to drive the S any distance on a donut?
Yes: Slowly, surface roads, to my tire guy. Adding AAA (or any third party) to your safety "system" introduces one more point of failure.
