right now i have a mono amp for my subs. im plannin on buying speakers really soon, and someone mentioned that buying a whole new amp would be better. buying a 2channel amp for just aftermarket speakers. is this right? and if so which amp is recomended?

the speakers i want are the Pioneer Premier TS-D901P

260 Watts Peak
60 Watts RMS
Frequency Response 27Hz-32kHz

If you can afford it then yes get a 2ch amp for your new speakers.. The model that you are planning to get are quite good so it would be a shame to run them just off a head unit..
