Default Amps mounted -

trying to get an idea of where and how to mount an amp in the s2k.
let me some photos of what some of you guys have so far.

we just mounted mine behind the passenger side, vertically.

i lost about an inch and a half from my cusco rollbar so it made sense just to put it there. depending on how much space your average passenger needs, this may or may not be a good option for you.

I used to have a little amp mounted behind the passenger seat as well, but relocated to the trunk after changing speakers and switching to a PDX (too chicken to mount vertically). Sorry, not photos of the new setup yet.

I used the spare tire area for one amp, the power block, and cross-overs. Made my own board (build up cardboard to trace and jigsaw cut). Mounted the 2nd amp against the rear of the trunk, a bit funky in how I strapped it. Wouldn't all fit in the spare tire area. Maybe if I rigged a double-decker...

Vented to remove heat from amplifier.
