Finally did it. Last night I got my tools out, and got those rear speakers installed. I followed the step by step instructions Lucid provides....it was a snap! After putting the speakers & new harness in, I pop'd AC/DC's Back in Black in the CD player, and off I went for a ride, top down style. Cruising at 70 mph, I can now hear the music! Thank you Lucid!

 

I have seriously been thinking about getting that setup for my 2002 as well...One question, did you lose any leg room when you put the rear panel in? Just curious...Thanks!

 

Not at all! The speakers only stick out maybe 1/2 inch....I have the seat all the way back, and the seatback 1 notch from all the way back(does that make sense?).

I sent my panels to Lucid. He cut them, & shipped the harness & panels back to me, with instructions on how to remove the radio, intall the harness & the speakers. I purchased my Polk's from Crutchfield. Lucid will provide everything including the speakers for a price. Send him a PM with what your interested in!
