Default Another Speaker Question

Has anyone had any experience installing alpine 176A 6.5 components in the front? Will they fit?

Also, I'm thinking about installing alpine type-r 2 way 134A 5-1/4 in the rear. Will this fit without having to cut any metal?

Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I have Alpine 177a's in the front and the 137a's in the rear and these are pretty close to the ones you listed with regards to the size.

The fronts fit fine, you'll need a bracket/spacer for them to fit without hitting the window or just cut the back out of the basket like I did...its a prefect fit. As for the rears that takes a little bit of work and 'cutting' to make those fit, but they will fit

Here's a few pic''s how I did mine:

Any questions let me know...

Thanks again!

yeah you'll be fine... you will have to dremel away a little metal to make those rears fit but nothing structual. You'll need a bunch of those little tiny cutting wheels
