Antenna Assembly substitute?
Sup guys, question. I bought my AP1 about a month ago, and it sounds great and all, but I have a few problems.
1) I have the iSimple hookup (previous owner) but I think the wire has a short (only plays one speaker if wire is bent the most precise angle), so it charges no problem, but no music half the time :/
2) My antenna is broken off, and it seems the top part where you screw on is broken off. I'm not getting any signal at all on any station.
So my questions are:
- Can I just replace the cord (I have no idea how it's hooked up) to iSimple and it probably work?
- Can I block off the antenna hole and just get some sort of device/mechanism to still get signal? I really don't want to pay $120+ for an assembly
Thanks guys!

The antenna is amplified, which is why the assembly is so expensive. That said, the
assembly is made up of a bunch of different parts, and depending on what is broken
you may be able to get away with only replacing some relatively inexpensive parts.
