Any problems buying from places like BuyLoud.com, MMXpress.com, CBRStereo.com, etc?
I'm looking at getting a pair of Focal speakers, and these places are SO much less expensive than my local dealer. But, I wouldn't be getting a warranty from Focal, but rather from the dealers. Anybody have any good or bad experiences w/ dealers like these? Please share, because I'm a little nervous about buying from them.

yeah - here it is - your warranty is NOT from the dealers, it's from the manufacturer. focal subsidizes the warranty. anytime you bypass the local dealer, you're hurting them. they are the one who will be stuck repairing the item they didn't sell. online dealers don't have service departments, they don't have overhead - hence their low low prices. there's a reason for their low prices - they don't have to support you once they've made the easy deal with someone who demo'd the speakers in a brick and mortar location, then bought 'em cheap off the internet.
