Any reason NOT to get Alpine CDA-7995?

Did a search and found a lot of people like this HU for the S. Any reasons not to get it?

For the price it is a really good HU. The reason that most of the guys on the board use it is that it is a RCA output only headunit, which mean's no internal amp. It really gives a good clean signal and has all the compatability that anyone need's. Personally I like the XM interface ability and the preouts for sub only with what ever they are calling there bass engine now.

well, you'll need outboard amps and it's 100% blue lit... otherwise, it's a sweet headunit.

I have an Alpine amp. I'd love an amber lit kit but I don't believe there is much available for our car that works with a DCI. Am I wrong?

this is last year's Alpine the CDA-7894. they can still be found w/ some effort.

thanks... it blends in really well... regretfully, it is lacking some features that the new CDA-98xx series have... but, it's still a solid head.
