Default any room behind the seats?

I was wondering if there was any room behind the seats for some 10"s or 8"s. I was thinking about some JL W7's. If its even possible, how hard would it be and would it cost a shitload or what?

No, there isn't, unless you want to cut metal.

Remove the panel (2 screws and pull) to see the space that is there.

Wow...W7's?

I didn't expect to see that...Maybe questioning Illusion Audios, Phase Linears, those old CDTs...

i don't even know if you could safely remove enough metal to get a W7 in there... those monsters are deep.

i'd say this isn't the best of ideas....

Yup...I honestly can't think of a remotely sensible place to stick a W7 in our cars...

The mounting depth of even the 8 would be a killer.

If you've got your heart set on a "supersub" you can get the EDa everyone always talks about...or you can get a Brahma.

Both have more reasonable mounting depths and will work in much smaller boxes than the W7 would allow

You can do it, but they will have to face the trunk. You can squeeze 4 or 5 inch speakers behind the seats but the magnets can't be too big because of the amount of room you have to play with is limited. I suggest placing a 12" sub in the trunk with a min 350watt amp, that's what I'm doing right now until my 1500watt T amp gets here. I have all 350 watts going to my sub right now and my multi disk changer under my seat skips like crazy due to the amount of sub I'm pushing. 4 cabin speakers and one 12" sub would be the way to go in my opinion.
