Default Any way to keep OEM changer with new deck?

I got horribly overcharged and force optioned a CD changer when I bought the car. I want a new deck but I hate to lose the $$$ and have bolt holes in the trunk if the changer is useless. Are there any decks with plug and play compatibility with the OEM changer?

I will not sugar coat it..........NO.

What you can do is put the changer up for sale on the boards. Sell the changer and cable...........keep the cage!!!

You can use it to put on a new changer. An Alpine or a Pioneer changer will drop right in to the same holes. I am not sure what others will fit...........I know Clarion will NOT fit because its to small!

I got $230 for my changer for reference(without cage). I think that person got a very good deal.

Thanks guys,

That is the answer I was afraid of but knowing I can keep the cage makes it a bit less painful.
