With limited space, only way to go with two sub is custom made sub box!!

Yup

This is what you're looking at when you think about multiple subs in the S.

Pros
  • More SPL
  • Less excursion/distortion/compression at the limits

Cons
  • More money, space, weight
  • Cancellation issues
  • Less enclosure volume per sub => boominess

kinda a dumb question, maybe not, but how is the sound quality with a sub in the trunk? i would think because of the nice closed space it would be good because the sound couldnt "float away" are you following me??
But can you hear everything clearly? i guess thats what im getting at...

Check out my set-up....

Id say at least 75% of the bass goes into the cabin. Its much louder inside the car than outside, (unlike those ghetto systems). The s2000 is a pretty tight car.
