hi guys, quick question. im about to buy an ap1 with an ap2 radio installed, and the seller is saying the dash controls do not work with an ap2 radio in an ap1. I figured it would plug right up and work with the dash controls? is this true? TIA

 

I've got an '04 headunit in my '01, controls work fine. Not sure about later AP2 h/u's though.
