Default AP2 Roll Hoops w/speakers in 2005 AP2?

HI,

Does anyone know if the AP2 roll hoops w/oem speakers are a plug and play setup in a 2005 AP2?

Thanks for the input in advance

Plug and play? You will still have to rewire the roll hoop speakers to the h.u
But I would think the roll hoop are interchangeable.

Yes, that is correct. 05 had a different setup that was an accessory with a harness

Years ago IIRC there was a thread that said it would be impossible to separate the plastic
cover from the metal hoop without breaking it, suggesting that you would need to replace
the hoops and covers as a unit. It appears this is how they are sold:

(from HondaAutomotiveParts.com)
Your earlier AP2 should have rear speaker connectors terminating by the driver's knee for
the accessory headrest speakers - you'll need to run wires back to the hoops though.
Here are the factory installation instructions for the headrest speakers to see how they
were wired.
