Default ap2 roll hoops w/ speakers on ap1

does anyone know how i can wire the AP2 roll hoop speakers on a 2000 AP1? i have a after market HU but do i need an amp to power all 4 tweeters on the roll hoop?

i wired the passenger side and only 1 tweeter works. i did the same for the driver side but there's no sound coming out from them? does this mean i need more power?

You can buy the rear speaker wiring kit from Hardtopguy. They connectors plug into the stock harness and everything works fine. This is how I wired the rear speakers in my car and it works.

when I did them, I ran them from the headunit for the rear speaker output. ran them in parallel, as I believe that's how they're run from the factory. I did not use an amp. If 1 out of the 4 are not working, check the wiring to make sure you didn't ground them (since they're close to the metal rollbars). I have the modifry upgraded speakers for the 06+ rollhoops and encountered that in the beginning since the spades from the speakers would touch the metal roll bars underneath.

you mean the connectors for the 06 roll hoops? i have all the connectors female and male. i just need to know if connecting them to my front speakers are the correct way to do them but so far i did that for the passenger side and only one speaker/tweeter works. not both.

ok, i'm going to try and connect the rears to my rear output on HU. no wires are touching the roll bar. ...when i did the same for driver side, none of the rear has sounds. only both fronts and 1 rear from passenger side works.
